FAQs
What's the difference between the Experience and a Rental?
The Experience is full-service: we bring 5–7 commercial machines on our trailer, a dedicated operator runs the whole thing, and we handle LED lighting, music, setup, and teardown. It also includes our trade-up prize system. You just enjoy the party. A Rental is the DIY option — we drop off one or two machines and you run the show. Want the serviced touches on a rental? How much space do you need?
We need a 20×10 foot area for the trailer — the trailer itself is 16 feet of arcade. Street parking works great as long as there's enough clearance alongside the trailer. Tighter venue or smaller event? A machine Rental (with the optional Pop-Up add-on) needs far less space.
How many people can play at once?
The full trailer arcade comfortably fits 12–18 people at a time. Guests rotate in and out throughout the event, so everyone gets plenty of turns.
What age range is Drop Claw for?
All ages! Younger kids love the machines just as much as adults. If you're adding a prize package, we'll select prizes to match your crowd.
Can we do it outdoors?
Yes — street parking and driveways work great. We just need a flat surface and enough clearance. For weather protection, a canopy or covered area is recommended but not always required.
How far do you travel?
We serve the entire Bay Area. Travel fees may apply for locations more than 30 miles from our base — just ask when you book and we'll give you an exact quote.
What prizes come with the machines?
Every Experience booking includes a standard prize fill at no extra cost, plus our trade-up prize system — players can trade smaller wins up for bigger prizes. We'll theme the standard fill as close as possible to your event using our in-stock inventory. Want premium, custom, or branded prizes? Premium prizes are available as an add-on — just ask when you book.
How early do you arrive to set up?
We arrive at least 30 minutes before your event start time. If we finish setup early, that extra time is yours to play — we get the excitement, so early setup just means more playtime, not less.
Can the mini machines be set up separately from the trailer?
Yes — the mini claw machines don't have to stay inside the trailer. We can place them outside the trailer or in a completely different area of your party (like near a dessert table or a kids' zone) so you can spread the fun across your venue.
Is there a deposit?
Yes, we require a deposit to hold your date. Details will be confirmed when we reach out after your booking request.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
